Free EWB TOEFL iBT Preparation: Introductory Course
Are you an English teacher in Tajikistan planning to take the TOEFL test as part of your professional development journey?
Whether you’re applying for international teaching programs, graduate studies, exchange programs sponsored by the US Government, or scholarships, a strong TOEFL score can unlock new opportunities for your growth and impact as an educator.
To support your advancement, the EWB Network is pleased to offer a FREE one-month online introductory TOEFL iBT preparation course designed specifically for English Language Teachers (ELTs) in Tajikistan. This course is ideal for teachers who are serious about improving their academic English and preparing for the TOEFL with confidence and focus.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, selected participants will:
- Understand the format and structure of the TOEFL iBT sections
- Get familiar with the types of tasks and questions in each section
- Identify their strengths and weaknesses
- Begin developing the academic English skills needed for TOEFL success
This course is not a shortcut; it is a practical, skills-based training that requires your time, effort, and full participation.
Who Can Apply?
We are accepting 25-30 ELTs who meet the following criteria:
- Active EWB members
- Currently employed as English teachers based in Tajikistan
- Have at least a B1 level of English (intermediate)
- Committed to attending all sessions and completing assignments
- Have stable internet access and can participate in online sessions from a quiet location
Course Format
- Modality: 100% Online
- Duration: 1 month (Introductory Course)
- Schedule: to be announced after selection
- Language of instruction: English

Note:
You must upload a screenshot of your Core Skills Test result from the EnglishScore app in the registration form.
