Join the EWB digital storytelling contest “Stories for Teachers!” for World Teachers’ Day!

Each year, a specific theme is chosen to highlight important issues in education. In 2025, the theme for World Teacher’s Day is, “The Teachers We Need for the Education We Want: The global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage.”

This World Teachers’ Day, EWB invites learners of all ages and levels to join our digital storytelling contest “Stories for Teachers!“, a global celebration of the incredible impact teachers have on our lives.

Whether you’re a young student, a lifelong learner, or a classroom enthusiast — we want to hear your story!

What’s the Contest About?

We’re looking for creative digital stories that honor and celebrate teachers. Tell us about a teacher who…

• Inspired you to believe in yourself or chase your dreams
• Made a lesson unforgettable through their creativity or kindness
• Helped you discover a love for learning or a new subject
• Guided you through a challenge or helped shape who you are today

Let your imagination run wild — your story doesn’t have to be written. It can be expressed in any digital format!

Accepted Formats:

Submit your story as a:

• Video
• Poster
• Digital Artwork
• Photo Story
• Collage
• Mini Book
• Comic
• Poem
• Essay
• Any other creative format!

There are no limits to how you express your story — just be authentic and original.

How to Enter:

• Create your digital story in any format.
• Send it to us via email at pr@ewb.tj.
• Share it on social media using the following hashtags: #EWBStoriesforTeachers and #WorldTeachersDay2025
• Don’t forget to mention EWB (@ewbtj) so we can see and share your post!
