Join the English Without Borders (EWB) Network and help shape the future of English education in Tajikistan.

The English Without Borders Network (EWB), supported by the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan and implemented by the Public Organization “Durakhshi Marifat,” is looking for two dynamic individuals to join its team as part-time (40%) Regional Representatives in Khatlon Region — one based in Bokhtar and another in Kulob.

About the EWB Network

Launched on March 1, 2021, the EWB Network is the first and largest national network for English teachers in Tajikistan. With support from the U.S. Embassy and implemented by “Durakhshi Marifat,” EWB provides English teachers across all regions of Tajikistan with access to professional development, networking, and opportunities to collaborate and grow.

EWB is a pioneer in fostering innovation in English language teaching, creating new platforms and opening doors for teachers and learners across the country. At the heart of this movement are our Regional Representatives (RRs) — passionate leaders who drive EWB’s mission forward in their regions.

Position Overview

As a Regional Representative, you’ll play a vital role in:

• Promoting the EWB Network and expanding its outreach in your area
• Organizing events and workshops for local teachers
• Engaging with community leaders, educators, and stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting EWB activities
• Supporting professional growth for teachers in your region
• Building a connected and empowered teaching community

This is a part-time position (16 hours/week) for one year, with the potential for renewal based on performance.

What We’re Looking For

We seek innovative, self-motivated professionals with:

• A degree in Education or ELT-related fields
• At least 5 years of teaching experience in the English language
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Prior teacher training or international experience (preferred)
• Fluency in Tajik and English (oral and written)
• Passion for community development and English education

Job Location

• One position in Bokhtar
• One position in Kulob
