Applications Open: EWB Training of Trainers (ToT) Program Summer 2026
English Without Borders Network (EWB) is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Training of Trainers (ToT) Program Summer 2026 — a flagship initiative designed to prepare the next generation of teacher trainers and education leaders in Tajikistan.
The ToT Program is part of the broader EWB Master Workshops initiative, which equips experienced English language educators with the skills, mindset, and practical tools needed to design and deliver high-quality professional development for their peers.
About the Program
The ToT Program is an intensive, hands-on learning experience that focuses on:
- Foundations of Andragogy (Adult Learning)
- Facilitation & Presentation Skills
- Workshop Design & Learning Outcomes
- Practical Training & Feedback
- EWB Master Workshop Expectations & Grant Guideline
Participants will engage in interactive sessions, collaborative tasks, and real-world practice — ensuring they are fully prepared to lead impactful workshops after completing the program.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for motivated and committed educators who:
- Have more than 5 years of experience teaching English
- Are active members of the EWB Network
- Demonstrate leadership potential and initiative
- Are eager to support and train other teachers
What You’ll Gain

- Develop advanced facilitation and public speaking skills
- Gain practical experience in training teachers
- Join a network of EWB Master Trainers and leaders
- Become eligible for future opportunities, including the EWB Master Workshop Mini-Grant
Program Structure
The program includes the following stages:
- 5-day in-person intensive training
- Live online sessions
- After completing the ToT, participants submit the final workshop proposals
- Participants organize 4 weekly workshops for 15-20 teachers from their local communities
- Observe 7-8 workshop participants applying new strategies (the participants can be from the same schools) or organize 7-8 online observation sessions
- Provide mentorship and support, including informal coaching, feedback, or model lessons
- Encourage participants to join the EWB Network and take part in Thursday webinars, online campaigns, local PD sessions, etc.
Support and Monitoring
To ensure continued support and quality assurance, EWB will provide:
- Mentorship
- Templates (agenda, registration forms, feedback surveys, etc.)
- Online check-ins post-ToT to assist with preparation
- Social media promotion of selected master workshops
- Certificates for both trainers and participants
Grantees submit a post-workshop report. EWB may conduct follow-up visits or surveys to evaluate long-term effects. Outstanding trainers may be invited to lead future ToT sessions or advanced workshops.
