Nasiba Mirpochoeva has a very extensive work experience: English Lecturer at the Khujand State University (1999-2009); Project Coordinator at NGO ASTI (2009-2012), Social Performance Specialist at LLC MDO Arvand (2013-2015); Project Manager at MCF MicroInvest (2016-2019). She worked as Program Assistant at Hilfswerk International in Central Asia in 2020. Currently, she works as Director of the EWB Project. She is an active USG Alumna and has successfully implemented a number of projects within USG small grants program. She graduated from Khujand State University with major in English and German Languages in 1999 and also she graduated from Tajik State University of Commerce with major in Finance and Credit in 2015. In 2016 she was a winner of the First National Oratory Contest held among the USG Alumni in Tajikistan. In November, 2018 she was a speaker at TEDxFSCJ Fearless Innovation Salon Event held in Dushanbe. She was a winner of TOP-50 award by Radio Vatan in Tajikistan in 2020. She is also a Board member of a number of regional NGOs. She is a co-founder of SogdArt - a social start-up to promote vulnerable women and youth handicraft products.
