Empowering Tajikistan’s English Teachers: The English Without Borders Network
The English language is a valuable tool for education and opportunity. In Tajikistan, the English Without Borders Network (EWB) equips teachers with the resources and connections they need to empower students.
Launched in March 2021 with funding from the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan and implemented by the Public Organization “Durakhshi Marifat,” EWB offers a unique support system for English teachers and learners across Tajikistan.
Here’s what makes EWB special:
- Free Membership: Teachers can join EWB for free, gaining access to a network of peers for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Professional Development: EWB provides training sessions, workshops, and pedagogical materials to enhance teaching skills and address specific challenges.
- Train-the-Trainer Program: EWB empowers experienced teachers to become trainers themselves, ensuring a wider reach and impact across the country.
- Aligned with National Goals: EWB’s initiatives are designed to support Tajikistan’s 2030 educational goals, strengthening the overall quality of English language instruction.
- Collaboration is Key: EWB works closely with schools, universities, stakeholders, and the Ministry of Education and Science to ensure its programs effectively meet the needs of Tajikistan’s educators.
By supporting EWB, you’re investing in the future of Tajikistan. You’re helping to create a network of confident and skilled English teachers who can unlock a world of opportunity for their students.
