This week on December 9 at 18:00, we will host Judith Elliott who will talk about “The Writing Process and Evaluating Student Papers”. 👩‍🏫

📌 Judith Elliott is an English Language teacher trainer who for the past 20 years has conducted methodology workshops and academic writing classes in Tajikistan, Russia, Far East, Serbia, and Georgia.
Before that time, Judith was a curriculum supervisor for English History Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language in Hazlet, New Jersey.

Judy has a bachelor’s in French history and a master’s degree in European history. Her doctorate focused on the cognitive development of students 14 to 18 years old and their problem-solving abilities.

In response to the growing number of immigrant students in her school district, Judy studied for another degree in Teaching English as a Second Language to adapt the English curriculum to meet the needs of new arrivals to America.

Judy is interested in academic writing and reading strategies to improve inference skills.

Most recently, she has returned to Tajikistan as a Fulbright Specialist giving workshops on writing and lesson planning to Access teachers as well as online writing courses.
