EWB Chai Talk

We are excited to host the next series of EWB Chai Talk with Judith Elliott, an English Language Teacher Trainer. Judy Elliott has worked abroad for the past 20 years as a teacher trainer and methodologist in Serbia, Tajikistan, Vladivostok, Russia, and Georgia. Prior to that time, she was a curriculum supervisor for English History Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language in Hazlet, New Jersey. Judy has a bachelor’s in French history and a master’s degree in European history. Her doctorate focused on the cognitive development of students 14 to 18 years old and their problem-solving abilities. In response to the growing number of immigrant students in her school district, Judy studied for another degree in Teaching English as a Second Language in order to adapt the English curriculum to meet the needs of new arrivals to America. Judy is interested in academic writing and reading strategies to improve inference skills.
