Chai Talk with Rahbar Majidova

📣 We are excited to host the next series of EWB Chai Talk with Rahbar Majidova.

✅ Rahbar Majidova is an aspiring EL teacher, trainer, female leader of PO “Gurdofarid” and alumna of the U.S. exchange programs such as TEA and ETM.

✅ Following her passion to teaching she graduated from Khujand State University, foreign languages department in 1998 and started teaching since that time.

✅ She is a certified English language trainer. She actively participated in regional and international conferences including CATEC in Kazakhstan and International English Language Teachers Conference in California, USA to share and enhance her teaching skills in 2003-2004.

✅ She became a finalist of competition for the project “Exploit and Edition of English course-books” Open Society Institute in Dushanbe in 2003.

✅ Under her leadership PO “Gurdofarid” has successfully conducted English Access Microscholarship Program and English for Journalists Programs supported by the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan. 

✅ In recognition of her outstanding teaching service she received several awards “US-Tajikistan Award for Excellence in Teaching” by the U.S. Embassy, “Education Office Awards for Excellence in Teaching” by B. Gafurov region authority. In addition, she was nominated as an exceptional woman from Tajikistan for the International Women of Courage Award.
