Chai Talk

We are excited to host the next series of EWB Chai Talk with Musalam Khamidova, a Senior Teacher at the Republican Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Education in Dushanbe. She has been teaching English from 1978 up to the present. In 2004 she became the TEA Program finalist and visited California, USA. She was awarded Teacher Excellence Award twice for her contribution to education. She is a co-author of Highway to English – a new textbook for a new generation for grade 5th. Moreover, she has been actively engaged in various educational programs by international NGOs and developed manuals for students of 6-7 grades, manuals for teachers and students for grades 3-4. Besides teaching, she has developed programs for teacher development courses in Tajikistan. Her recent book “Collection of dictations for grades 5-11” for teachers will be published soon. In addition, she has actively participated in CATEC conferences in Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. She is a certified trainer and has been conducting teacher training courses at the Republican Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Education in Dushanbe since 2006.
