The EWB Network is committed to supporting and recognizing English language teachers in Tajikistan who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in their profession. As part of this commitment, during the EWB National Conference, the EWB Network honors outstanding teachers with the following awards:
- Innovative Teacher of the Year: This award recognizes a teacher who has implemented creative and effective teaching methods or projects that have enhanced student learning outcomes and engagement. To be eligible for this award, the teacher must submit an application form and a video and lesson plan of a demonstration lesson. The application will be evaluated by a panel of EWB experts and partners.
- Inspirational Teacher of the Year: This award recognizes a teacher who has inspired and motivated students, colleagues, and the community through their passion, dedication, and positive attitude. To be eligible for this award, the teacher must be nominated by the EWB experts and partners. The nominations will be reviewed based on the criteria of influence, enthusiasm, professionalism, and collaboration.
- Most Active Webinar Participant: This award recognizes a teacher who has actively participated in the EWB Network’s online professional development webinars, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. To be eligible for this award, the teacher must have attended at least 80% of the webinars offered by the EWB Network in the past year and contributed to the discussions and activities.
